These terms govern your use of Load Order (the “Application”), a puzzle game for Android provided by Kent Nilsson (the “Service Provider”). By downloading, installing or using the Application you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Application.
Load Order is a single-player packing puzzle. It is free to download and play. The Service Provider grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Application on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use.
You agree not to copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from the Application, nor to extract its source code, except where that right cannot lawfully be restricted. You agree not to use the Application in any way that interferes with it, with other players, or with the services it relies on — including attempting to falsify scores or interfere with the leaderboards described below.
The Application is intended for players aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from them. See the Privacy Policy.
The Application shows advertising supplied by Google AdMob. A banner appears beneath the game controls, and you may optionally choose to watch a rewarded video to earn one extra hint. Watching a video is always optional: nothing in the game is locked behind it, and declining it never prevents you from finishing a puzzle.
Advertisements are served by Google and are not controlled or reviewed by the Service Provider. In the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, a Google-certified consent message is shown before any advertisement is requested, and your choice can be changed at any time inside the Application. How advertising data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
The Application offers one optional in-app purchase, Ad-free. It is a single, one-time payment — not a subscription, and it does not renew. It removes the banner advertising and the rewarded videos, and makes the full allowance of three hints free on every load.
The Application offers two optional leaderboards through Google Play Games Services: your lifetime career score, and each day's daily manifest. Using them is entirely your choice — the Application never prompts you to sign in when it launches, and declining leaves the rest of the game unaffected.
If you sign in, your scores may be visible to other players under your Play Games gamer tag. Play Games is operated by Google under its own terms. The Service Provider may remove scores that appear to have been obtained by modifying the Application or otherwise falsified.
This one is worth reading twice. The Application has no accounts and no server of its own. Your career total, rank, run progress, hint wallet, daily streak and saved session are stored on your device only.
That means progress can be lost in ways the Service Provider cannot recover or restore: uninstalling the Application, clearing its data or storage, some device “clear cache” tools, or a device being lost, reset or replaced. Android's own backup may preserve some of it, but this is not guaranteed. Your purchase is the exception — it is held against your Google account and can be restored, as described above.
The Service Provider may update, change or discontinue the Application, or any part of it, at any time and without notice. Updates are distributed through Google Play; some may be required for the Application to keep working. The Application needs an internet connection for advertising, leaderboards and purchases, but the puzzles themselves play offline.
Your device, your internet access and any data charges are your own responsibility. The Service Provider is not responsible for charges incurred by using the Application outside a Wi-Fi network, or for any loss arising from a device running out of battery or storage.
The Application is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. The Service Provider does not warrant that the Application will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of faults, nor that any defect will be corrected.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service Provider shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss arising out of your use of, or inability to use, the Application — including loss of game progress or data.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, and nothing here affects your statutory rights as a consumer. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protections, those protections continue to apply regardless of anything stated above.
The Application relies on services operated by others — Google Play, Google AdMob, Google Play Games Services, Firebase, Sentry and RevenueCat — each governed by its own terms. Those services are listed, with what each one receives, in the Privacy Policy. The Service Provider is not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.
These terms remain in effect until ended by you or by the Service Provider. You may end them at any time by uninstalling the Application. The Service Provider may end them if you breach them. On termination your licence to use the Application ends and you must stop using it and delete it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you may also rely on the mandatory consumer-protection laws of the country in which you live, and may bring proceedings there.
The Service Provider may update these terms from time to time. The revised terms will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and continuing to use the Application after that date means you accept them. You are advised to review this page periodically.
