This privacy policy applies to the game Purrimeter (herein referred to as "the Application") for mobile devices, which was created by Kent Nilsson (herein referred to as "the Service Provider").
The Application has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics. It does not ask for your name, your email address, or any other personal detail, and there is nowhere in the Application to enter one. Your puzzle progress, best times and settings are stored only on your device and are never uploaded.
The one thing the Application sends anywhere is a crash report, and only when something in the Application actually goes wrong. A crash report contains:
The Application also sends a short diagnostic code, with no other detail, when it has to recover from a problem that is not a crash — for example a saved game file it could not read, or a sound file that failed to load.
The Application does not collect or transmit your IP address, any advertising identifier, your location, your contacts, your photos or files, or screenshots of your screen. It does not measure or record how you use the Application when nothing has gone wrong: there is no analytics, no usage measurement, and no session or engagement tracking of any kind.
Crash reporting is switched on by default. You can turn it off at any time, inside the Application, at Settings → Crash reports.
When it is off, nothing is collected and nothing is sent. The reporting is shut down completely, including the part that watches for crashes, and it stays off until you switch it back on.
Because crash reports are not tied to you or to any account, the Service Provider cannot locate or delete an individual report on request. The switch above is the control over whether anything is sent at all.
The Application does not use advertising networks, analytics tools, or social media SDKs.
Crash reports are processed on the Service Provider's behalf by Sentry (Functional Software, Inc., trading as Sentry), a diagnostics service used solely to find and fix faults in the Application. Sentry's own privacy policy is available at https://sentry.io/privacy/.
Crash reports are stored on Sentry's servers in the European Union and are automatically deleted after 90 days.
The Service Provider does not sell, rent, or share crash reports with anyone else.
Where UK or EU data protection law applies, the Service Provider relies on its legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) UK/EU GDPR) in keeping the Application working correctly and diagnosing faults. You may object to this at any time by switching crash reporting off as described above.
The Application is not directed at children under the age of 13, and the Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Application has no accounts, no chat or other social features, no advertising, and no in-app purchases.
If you believe that a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Application, please contact the Service Provider at the address below and it will be deleted.
Crash reports are transmitted over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). All other data created by the Application — your progress, best times and settings — never leaves your device.
The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Any updates are effective immediately upon posting on this page.
